During the star-studded King’s Trust Awards in London’s Royal Festival Hall on 26 June, Roslyn, a young woman from Saint Lucia received the King’s Trust Global Young Achiever Award presented by Nigerian DJ, producer and ambassador for The Trust, DJ Cuppy.
Founded by His Majesty King Charles III, the former Prince of Wales, The King’s Trust International, supports young people across the world through employment, education and enterprise programmes. This year, the charity celebrates ten years since it expanded its work globally, bringing its programmes to over 100,000 young people in under-served communities.
The King’s Trust Awards celebrate young people who have participated in King’s Trust programmes around the world. Guests at the ceremony included Amal Clooney, Charlotte Tilbury MBE, DJ Cuppy, among many others.
At the awards ceremony, Roslyn was surprised on stage with a video from Paris Saint-German players including Ousmane Dembélé congratulating her on her win.
