Ahead of the January 1, 2020 ban on Styrofoam, the Sandals Foundation has assisted six primary schools in Westmoreland replace their polystyrene foam lunch boxes and single-use plastic cups with reusable lunch containers. 

November 2019: The continuing education programme for adolescent mothers at the Montego Bay branch of the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation has been enhanced with a fully outfitted cosmetology room to support their training.
